The much loved comedy Calendar Girls will make its local debut at the Milton Theatre towards the end of this year. This popular story follows the quiet, normally conservative ladies of a Women’s Institute in Yorkshire, who bare more than just their souls, in order to raise funds for charity.
The play is in the safe hands of experienced director Di Falloon, who has created many successful shows for the Follies over the years. She’s returning from a break, full of enthusiasm for this moving story about friendship, nudity, loss, and strategically placed flowers and vegetables.
Anybody who’d like to act on stage, or help behind the scenes, or at the front of house, watch this space for further details!
